FAMILY MINISTRY
FROM BIRTH TO SENIOR HIGH
We aim to provide a Jesus-focused, Spirit-filled, and life-giving ministry in the lives of youth. Our focus is to provide an atmosphere and environment that empowers the next generation to live and walk in God's kingdom, feeling loved and connected. We offer childcare in Nursery for birth to 5 years old during services and special events.
A Safe Place for Families
First Methodist is a safe place for families. Every staff person and volunteer is required to pass a background check through Ministry Safe to work with kids and youth.
KIDS
Amy Meek - First Kids Director
Kids meet on Sunday Mornings for Sunday School at 9:00am
Parents have the option of sending their children to kid’s fellowship after the Children’s Sermon in the worship service at 10:00am.
Wednesday nights kid’s ministry meets for a churchwide meal at 5:15pm, then from 6:00pm to 7:00pm for fun and Bible study.
YOUTH
Nicole Hunter - Youth Director
Youth Sunday School meets at 9:00am for fellowship and donuts
Sunday Night Youth meets from 4:00 to 6:00pm for food, fun, and Bible Study
Wednesday Nights Youth meets at 5:15pm for food, then at 6:00pm for fun and Bible Study
